Until the End of Time by WeirdCityTaxidermy Until the End of Time by WeirdCityTaxidermy
So, uh... been meaning to get a photo or two of this gal posted for way too long now. Maybe I'll take some nicer, more scenic shots later, outdoors or something. Skull is from this zebra mare, for those who might remember (warning, graphic photos). I had another local taxidermist clean it for me; was too big for me and what I currently have to work with.

I don't have many things I consider "prized possessions" but I believe this is one of them. People ask about it all the time when they come to the shop; it's right by the door, so hard to miss on the way out!

Awww, what a cute idea! Funny thing though, this zebra never actually lived in Africa... she was born and raised right here in Texas! She'd probably feel just as "at home" with a little longhorn figurine beside her.

No, the pelt went back to the customer. He let me keep the skull though.

Yep, she's a Grevy's. :) Probably wouldn't have had this opportunity if she hadn't been captive-bred... I don't think they're legal to hunt in the wild?

no not this type of zebra, they are endangered and they live in the high mountainous parts of Africa, thats why they have a different look compared to the other two types

Cool! I immediately recognized it as 'equine' even before I scrolled down to the description, but my first guess was 'mule'.
